Catherine Johnson is the founder of Kitchen Table Math, a group blog where “parents, teachers, & friends discuss math, reading, & writing – and the politics of public education”. I post over there occasionally.
This is my old blog, now inactive. It was also about education but with a broader scope of topics – math curriculum, writing instruction, school reform, charter schools, college admissions, paying for college, gender differences, achievement gaps, e-learning, special education, gifted students, etc.
A group blog managed by Laura Davenport, where “we take pride in the civil tone of our discussions covering a wide range of topics from current events, personal lives, cars, real estate, homework, personal finance, vacations, anything that has to do with work-family balance”. I post over there occasionally.
