I write about the various costs that we face in the years before, during and after college. My focus is on the financial as well as the academic factors, with an eye for exploring the trends in higher education that may profoundly affect our children’s lives in the coming years.
My interest in education began when my children entered the public school system. With one child in college and another in high school, I’ve had the chance to learn something about the ins and outs of trying to get a good education. And I am always learning more!
My professional background includes work as a petroleum geologist as well as in financial planning and investments. I am a CFP© professional, but my writing here is not meant to offer financial planning advice.
